Job summary

JPL/NASA in Pasadena, CA seeks an experienced Oracle Software Engineer III to administer Oracle EBS and support end-to-end ODM/MRP inventories. The role collaborates with ESA leads to translate business requirements into functional designs and configuration updates.

Strong analytical and cross-functional teamwork are essential for successful delivery. The position requires multiple full lifecycle Oracle EBS inventories, data integrity expertise, and proficient MS Office usage.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of functional Oracle R12.13.x EBS experience.
• Experience with two or more full cycle Common Inventory implementations in Oracle EBS R12.13.x.
• Deep knowledge of inventory data structures and controls, including item master integrity, sub-inventories, locators, UOM conversions, lot/serial control, and on-hand balance accuracy.
• Experience with ODM lifecycle across Inventory, BOM, WIP, MRP, MPS, Purchasing, and Costing.

• Support functional testing and user training activities.
• Document functional designs, workflows, and any approved enhancements or process adjustments.
• Assist in resolving functional issues and guiding stakeholders through incident closure.
• Provide bi-weekly functional status reporting.

An Oracle Software Engineer III position just opened up at JPL/NASA in Pasadena, CA. In this role you will be administrating organization's database, using database management system to organize and store data.

Position: Oracle Software Engineer

Pay Rate: $47 - 87/hr DOE

Duration: 12 months

Schedule: 1st shift, 9/80 (You’ll be working 80 hours over 9 days, instead of the traditional 10; So for example, you may work 9-hour days Monday through Thursday, and on Fridays, you either work an 8-hour day or take regular day off.)

Job Summary

Required Skills

• Minimum 5 years of functional Oracle R12.13.x eBS experience
• Demonstrated experience delivering two or more full cycle Common Inventory implementations as part of broader ODM/MRP deployments in Oracle EBS R12.13.x
• Deep knowledge of inventory data structures and controls, including item master integrity, sub-inventories, locators, UOM Conversions, lot/serial control, and on-hand balance accuracy
• Experience with project-based and multi-org inventory models, including common vs project-specific inventory and impacts on costing, planning, and financial reporting
• Deep understanding of the end-to-end ODM lifecycle, including Inventory, BOM, WIP, MRP, MPS, Purchasing, and Costing
• Solid understanding of integration points across Inventory, Purchasing, Payables, and Project Accounting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Strong business analysis skills, including process mapping, requirements gathering, and documentation
• Ability to present functional options and recommendations to business stakeholders
• Ability to interact effectively with project team members and stakeholders
• Proficiency in MS Office

Desired Skills

• Experience with basic SQL queries
• Experience with Manufacturing Project Accounting and Project Accounting modules
• Knowledge of Purchasing ASL processes and configuration
