The SCM Solution Architect is responsible for delivering hands‑on functional leadership across Oracle Fusion Cloud Supply Chain Management (SCM) applications. This role supports end‑to‑end implementation activities, including business process design, solution architecture, configuration, testing, and user enablement.
Solution Architects are expected to lead their functional areas through discovery, design, and delivery while ensuring solutions align with Oracle best practices and customer business objectives. The ideal candidate brings strong experience across Oracle Fusion SCM modules, deep knowledge of Discrete and Process Manufacturing, and practical exposure to Redwood UX, Oracle AI Services, and AI Agents to help customers modernize and automate their supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities
Functional Delivery
- Lead configuration and functional delivery across Oracle Fusion SCM modules, including Procurement, Inventory, Order Management, Manufacturing, Supply Planning, Logistics, and Cost Management.
- Drive requirements gathering, fit‑gap analysis, and mapping of business processes to Oracle Fusion Cloud best practices.
- Design and document end‑to‑end SCM solutions, including Manufacturing (Discrete & Process), Outside Processing (OSP), and Contract Manufacturing flows.
- Develop functional designs, configuration workbooks, test scripts, and user training materials.
- Execute system configuration, validation, and end‑to‑end testing across integrated SCM processes.
- Support cutover planning, data validation, and post‑go‑live stabilization activities.
Redwood UX, AI, and Automation
- Apply Redwood UX design principles to deliver modern, intuitive user experiences and role‑based workflows.
- Leverage Oracle AI Services, embedded AI capabilities, and AI Agents to enable intelligent document recognition, predictive and prescriptive insights, automated recommendations, conversational interactions, and task automation.
- Identify and implement opportunities for process simplification, automation, and efficiency using Oracle‑provided AI and low‑code/no‑code tools.
- Partner closely with business stakeholders, enterprise architects, technical teams, and project managers.
- Translate functional and business requirements into clear technical specifications in collaboration with development and integration teams.
- Lead workshops, training sessions, solution reviews, and executive demonstrations.
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers on Oracle Fusion SCM capabilities, roadmap, and best practices.
Documentation & Quality
- Maintain high‑quality documentation including configurations, process flows, testing evidence, and end‑user guides.
- Adhere to governance, change management, and project delivery standards.
- Support integration and data teams by validating interfaces, conversions, FBDI loads, and data mappings.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Supply Chain or ERP implementation roles, with 5+ years of hands‑on Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM experience.
- Functional expertise in at least two Oracle Fusion SCM modules such as Quality, Procurement, Inventory, Order Management, Supply Planning, Logistics, or Cost Management.
- Deep expertise in Oracle Manufacturing (Work Definitions ,Work Execution, Structures and Formulas), supporting Discrete and Process Manufacturing environments.
- Experience with inline and ad‑hoc Quality Plans
- Experience with Contract Manufacturing and Outside Processing (OSP).
- Working knowledge of Oracle Financials such as AP, AR, GL, or Cash Management.
- Hands‑on experience with Redwood UX.
- Practical exposure to Oracle AI features and AI Agents.
- Strong understanding of end‑to‑end supply chain processes and integrations.
- Experience authoring test scripts, leading UAT, and supporting go‑live cycles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST APIs, FBDI spreadsheet loads, and event‑driven integrations.
- Exposure to OCI, Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW), Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), or related Oracle technologies.
- Oracle Cloud SCM, Manufacturing, or Procurement certifications.
- Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery models.
