Job summary

SmartRecruiters, Inc. is seeking an experienced Oracle Developer in Indianapolis to lead complex forms and reports integration within a 3-tier environment. Key focus areas include Oracle Forms 10g/11g, Oracle Reports 11g/12c, and advanced SQL/PL/SQL skills.

Applicants should have Linux (Redhat/Unix) experience, shell scripting, and familiarity with SDLC, SVN, and testing standards. Oracle Certification is preferred and Agile Scrum exposure is desirable.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science/IT/CE or related field.
• 7+ years with Oracle Forms 10g/11g in a 3-tier environment.
• 7+ years of SQL/PL/SQL with Oracle 11g/12c.
• Expert knowledge of Oracle 11g/12c SQL*Plus, PL/SQL, and Tuning.
• 7+ years with Oracle Reports 11g/12c in a 3-tier environment.
• Experience with Oracle 10g/11g databases.
• Experience integrating Oracle Forms & Reports with Oracle App Server 11g/12c.
• Experience with Linux (Redhat/Unix).
• Shell scripting (bash, PERL, AWK, SED).
• Oracle Certification preferred.
• Knowledge of SDLC, SVN, testing, coding standards.
• Strong communication and ability to translate business rules into design.
• Financial system/module development experience.
• Knowledge of platform-level components, event architectures, messaging a plus.
• Security design standards for web applications and vulnerabilities awareness.
• Experience in Agile Scrum delivery projects.

• Applicant must have a BS in Computer Science/Information Technology/Computer Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of advanced experience with development, enhancements, maintenance of Oracle Forms 10g/11g in a 3-tier environment
• Expert knowledge & implement complex SQL, PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers using Oracle 11g/12c with 7+ years’ experience
• Expert knowledge of use of Oracle 11g/12c new features of SQL*Plus, PL/SQL, and Tuning required
• 7+ years advanced experience with development, enhancements, maintenance of Oracle Reports 11g/12c in a 3-tier environment
• Experience working with Oracle 10g/11g databases required
• Extensive experience integrating Oracle Forms & Reports in a Oracle Application Server 11g/12c environment required
• Experience integrating Oracle Reports in a Oracle Application Server 10g/11g environment required
• Must have experience with Linux OS - Redhat, or Unix OS
• Must have thorough knowledge of shell scripting (bash, PERL, AWK, SED)
• Oracle Certification preferred
• Must have good knowledge of Development life cycles, SVN Software Version Control, Software Testing, Coding Standards and Practices
• Ability to understand complex business rules and translate into system design Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Development experience with in the financial systems and financial modules of packaged applications required
• Knowledge of designing and developing platform level components including event architectures, messaging a plus
• Desirable skills in applying Internet security design standards, knowledge of critical web application security vulnerabilities, able to design and develop highly secure web applications
• Must have experience in leading or participating in projects working in a Agile Scrum delivery framework
