Job summary

Deloitte is seeking a senior specialist to lead Tier 2/3 application support for Oracle HCM Cloud US Payroll in a production environment. You will own incident management, drive problem management, govern change, and oversee monthly/quarterly updates, while coordinating with vendors and internal teams.

You will mentor analysts, develop runbooks and dashboards, and engage with Engagement Managers to improve processes and deliver transformational outcomes.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years experience supporting Oracle HCM Cloud US Payroll in a production environment with incident/problem/change practices.
  • Strong understanding of HCM business processes and ability to translate policy into configuration and support outcomes.
  • Experience leading a support team or acting as a functional lead in AMS or internal support model.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and escalation judgment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Tier 2/3 application support for Oracle HCM Cloud and own incident management with triage, prioritization, and SLA adherence.
  • Drive problem management including root cause analysis, recurring issue elimination, and knowledge base development.
  • Govern change management with configuration controls, approvals, release impact assessment, and regression testing coordination.
  • Oversee Oracle monthly/quarterly updates: review release notes, plan testing, and coordinate remediation.
  • Manage functional configuration areas (business processes, workflows/approvals, eligibility rules, security roles, data validations).
  • Payroll Year End support and integrations (inbound/outbound), including error handling and reconciliation.
  • Lead/vendor management with Oracle and third parties for timely resolution and documentation.
  • Produce runbooks, SOPs, dashboards, and control documentation; mentor support analysts and define on-call coverage.
  • Communicate with Engagement Managers, project teams, and other stakeholders; escalate as needed.
  • Lead client engagement workstreams focused on process improvement and operational transformation.

  • Lead Tier 2/3 application support for Oracle HCM Cloud (e.g., Benefits, Payroll ).* Own incident management: triage, prioritization, stakeholder communication, escalation, and SLA adherence* Drive problem management: root cause analysis, recurring issue elimination, defect backlog management, and knowledge base development.* Govern change management: configuration controls, approvals, release impact assessment, regression testing coordination, and deployment readiness.* Oversee Oracle Monthly and quarterly updates: review release notes, identify impacts, plan testing, and coordinate remediation. Manage functional configuration areas (e.g., business processes, workflows/approvals, eligibility rules, fast formulas where applicable, security roles, data validations).Payroll Year End Support Monitor and support integrations (inbound/outbound), including error handling and reconciliation (e.g., identity management, benefits carriers, payroll interfaces, ERP/finance, reporting/analytics), HDL, Reporting* Lead/manage vendor support cases with Oracle and third parties; ensure timely resolution and clear documentation.* Produce operational artifacts: runbooks, support playbooks, SOPs, monitoring dashboards, and control documentation.* Mentor and manage support analysts; define on-call/coverage models and ensure consistent support quality.* Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers (Directors), project team members, and representatives from various functional and / or technical teams, including escalating any matters that require additional attention and consideration from engagement management* Independently and collaboratively lead client engagement workstreams focused on improvement, optimization, and transformation of processes including implementing leading practice workflows, addressing deficits in quality, and driving operational outcomes

QualificationsRequired

  • Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $ 100,000 to $158,000.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
