Job summary

Iron Bow Technologies is seeking an experienced Integration Engineer to design and implement enterprise integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC). You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver real-time and batch integrations across Oracle Fusion HCM, Oracle EBS, Salesforce, and EDI/SOA systems.

Responsibilities include building REST/SOAP APIs, data mappings, and robust error handling, plus maintaining monitoring and documentation.

Qualifications

• 7+ years designing, developing, and testing enterprise integration solutions.
• 3+ years hands-on development and administration with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
• Experience with using SOA to build integrations.
• Experience integrating Oracle Fusion HCM, Oracle EBS, and Salesforce.
• Strong understanding of integration patterns (sync/async, event-driven).
• Strong API design knowledge (REST; SOAP/WSDL).
• Experience with file-based integrations (SFTP/FTPS) and encryption.
• Familiar with Jira and ServiceNow.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute unit/integration tests; support SIT/UAT, troubleshoot defects.
• Maintain operational monitoring: tracking IDs, dashboards, and alerts.
• Manage integration lifecycle across DEV/TEST/PROD with change control.
• Produce documentation: designs, mappings, and operation guides.
• Provide production support and technical leadership for incidents.

Responsibilities

Designs, develops, and supports enterprise integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) to enable secure, reliable data exchange between Oracle Fusion HCM, Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) hosted in OCI, Salesforce, EDI/SOA integrations, and external applications via managed file transfer (SFTP/FTPS). Collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable integration and API solutions with strong governance, monitoring, and documentation.

• Partner with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into integration designs, interface contracts, and technical specifications.
• Design and build OIC integrations (orchestrations) to support real‑time and batch use cases, including routing, enrichment, error handling, retries, and scheduling.
• Develop integrations between:
  • Oracle Fusion HCM (using available REST/SOAP services and OIC adapters as applicable)
  • Oracle EBS in OCI (services/APIs, DB/file integration patterns as applicable)
  • Salesforce (APIs/events as applicable)
  • EDI/SOA services and partner-facing interfaces
  • External systems via file transport (SFTP/FTPS), including inbound/outbound processing and acknowledgements where required
• Build and maintain REST/SOAP APIs and integration interfaces; apply API standards including versioning, naming conventions, request/response validation, and documentation.
• Create and maintain data mappings and transformations (XML/JSON), ensuring data consistency, canonical modeling where applicable, and referential integrity.
• Implement robust validation, exception handling, and reconciliation, including functional error responses and reprocessing procedures.
• Support EDI‑related integration flows by coordinating with EDI/SOA teams, validating payloads, and ensuring end‑to‑end partner connectivity and processing.
• Develop and execute unit/integration test plans; support SIT/UAT; troubleshoot and resolve defects across application, integration, and transport layers.
• Implement and maintain operational monitoring: OIC tracking/correlation IDs, dashboards, alerting, and incident/runbook procedures.
• Manage integration lifecycle activities: configuration, deployment promotion across environments (DEV/TEST/PROD), change management, and post‑deployment validation.
• Produce and maintain documentation: solution designs, interface specifications, mappings, operational guides, and support playbooks.
• Provide production support and technical leadership for integration incidents, root‑cause analysis, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 7+ years designing, developing, and testing enterprise integration solutions.
• 3+ years hands‑on development and administration with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
• Experience with using SOA to build integrations.
• Experience integrating with enterprise SaaS/ERP platforms such as Oracle Fusion HCM, and enterprise applications such as Oracle EBS and Salesforce.
• Strong understanding of integration patterns (sync/async, event‑driven concepts, batch/file‑based processing, retries, idempotency).
• Strong understanding of API design (REST), plus familiarity with SOAP/WSDL where needed; proficient with JSON/XML.
• Experience with file‑based integrations (SFTP/FTPS), including encryption/certificates as applicable and operational reprocessing controls.
• Experience with Jira and ServiceNow preferred.
• Ability to leverage OIC adapters, connections, and prebuilt patterns to accelerate delivery.
• Scripting/programming exposure for integrations and tooling (e.g., JavaScript/XSLT for transformations; Java/Python a plus).
