Job summary

Client of Advansys ESC is seeking a skilled developer with deep expertise in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), PL/SQL, Java, JavaScript, ODI and API development to design, build, and maintain robust integration solutions and database applications.

The role emphasizes building and optimizing REST/SOAP APIs, developing data pipelines with NiFi, and collaborating across teams to deliver scalable, secure integrations on Oracle Retail and related systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 7+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle technologies, Cloud and integration tools.
• Strong expertise in PL/SQL (packages, procedures, functions) and Oracle Database.
• Hands-on experience with OIC, ODI, and Java-based API development.
• Proficiency in database design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of integration patterns, REST/SOAP APIs, and middleware technologies.
• Strong proficiency in Java with modern frameworks such as Spring Boot and Quarkus.
• Proficient in version control systems such as Git and GitLab, with hands-on experience implementing CI/CD pipelines.
• Working knowledge of message brokers such as ActiveMQ and RabbitMQ for reliable asynchronous communication.
• Solid understanding of integration techniques including error handling, message throttling, webhooks, and data enrichment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize PL/SQL database packages, procedures, functions, and triggers.
