Job summary

Avalon Software Services seeks an experienced Oracle Grants Functional Consultant (Implementation) to lead functional activities for Oracle Grants Management during implementation projects. This remote, long-term role requires strong grants accounting knowledge and the ability to collaborate with Grants, Finance, and Compliance teams.

You will gather requirements, perform gap analyses, configure modules, and ensure successful integrations with GL, PA, AP, AR, and Procurement.

Qualifications

10+ years of Oracle Financials functional experience.
3+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Grants Management implementation.
Strong knowledge of grants accounting, sponsored projects, and compliance concepts.
Experience with Oracle EBS Grants (R12) and/or Oracle Fusion Grants (preferred).
Solid understanding of Project Costing, Budgetary Controls, and Revenue Recognition.
Ability to work independently and lead functional workstreams.
Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

Lead functional activities for Oracle Grants Management during implementation projects.
Gather business requirements and perform gap analysis with Grants, Finance, and Compliance teams.
Configure Oracle Grants modules including award setup, funding, cost sharing, and reporting.
Integrate Oracle Grants with General Ledger, Projects, AP, AR, and Procurement.
Define and execute CRP, SIT, and UAT cycles; support defect resolution.
