Job summary

Chewy is seeking a Functional Developer II – Oracle ERP Finance to design and build on the Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP platform across AP, AR, GL, Cash Management, Cost Management, and Fixed Assets. You will work with Coupa, Vertex, APIs, and data integrations to support Chewy’s high‑volume retail and e‑commerce needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Deep functional expertise across multiple Fusion Financials modules (AP, AR, GL, Cash Management, Cost Management, Fixed Assets).
• Proven ability to turn complex finance requirements into configurations, workflows, integrations, and reports that work in production.
• Experience defining functional requirements and data mappings for ERP integrations.
• Hands-on experience building BI Publisher reports and data models.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end functional solution design across Oracle Fusion Financials: requirements, configuration, data and integration, testing, and production readiness.
• Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Tax, Product, and Engineering to translate accounting requirements into scalable solutions.
• Implement new Oracle modules and modernize existing ones as the business grows.
• Extend Oracle beyond standard functionality with REST APIs, microservices, and file-based integrations, including data mappings and accounting rules.
• Develop Oracle BI Publisher reports and data models to support finance reporting and reconciliations.
• Support merger and acquisition finance integrations and migrations into Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP.
• Drive automation and strengthen financial controls, ensuring auditability from design through production.
• Lead functional testing (SIT/UAT/regression) and coordinate with Oracle Support and Engineering for issue resolution.
