Job summary

The Trade Desk in California is seeking a Finance Systems BI engineer to support Oracle Fusion ERP, EPM and data integration initiatives. You will design data models, build dashboards, and automate reporting using Power BI and Tableau.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in CS/IS/Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development, Oracle Fusion Cloud technical development, BI development or enterprise reporting.
• Strong experience with BI Publisher reports, data models, SQL queries, templates, report bursting and scheduled delivery.
• Hands-on experience building integrations using Boomi, Jitterbit or OIC.
• Experience integrating Oracle Fusion ERP with external systems via REST APIs, SOAP, Oracle adapters, FTP/SFTP and file-based interfaces.
• Experience with Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service, Oracle APEX, Oracle Process Automation or Oracle SaaS extension techs.
• Experience designing or supporting ETL/ELT pipelines integrating Oracle Fusion BICC with third-party data.
• Knowledge of dimensional modeling, star schemas, data marts and data warehouse concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau or equivalent for dashboards and analytics.
• SQL, PL/SQL and Python experience.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion financial ERP modules.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience with AI-based automation in finance/ERP.

Responsibilities

• Configure and support Oracle BI Cloud Connector extracts from Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP.
• Design and support downstream ingestion processes loading BICC extracts into data warehouses and BI semantic models.
• Extract, ingest, and transform data from non-Oracle and external systems.
• Develop batch and real-time data extraction using Boomi, Jitterbit, OIC, REST APIs, SOAP and FTP/SFTP.
• Design data models, star schemas, fact/dimension tables, and KPIs for cross-system reporting.
• Develop enterprise reporting datasets combining Oracle Fusion ERP with external data.
• Create interactive BI dashboards, scorecards, executive reports, and self-service analytics with Power BI/Tableau.
• Develop and enhance BI Publisher reports for Oracle Fusion ERP.
• Build Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP extensions with Oracle VBCS.
• Develop and support integrations between Oracle Fusion ERP and third-party systems.
• Gather requirements and translate into technical design documents.
• Leverage Generative AI to improve analytics productivity and insight generation.
• Work with LLMs to enable natural language querying and automated report generation.
• Follow security, data privacy, change management and production support standards.
