Job summary

Tier One Technologies is seeking an Oracle eBusiness Suite Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support our direct US Government client. This 100% remote role is originated in Arlington, VA, with eligibility for a federal background investigation for clearance.

The SME will lead implementations of Oracle EBS Financials modules (PO, AR, AP, FA, PA, GL), oversee NAOFA tasks, and guide the team in AI, VersionOne, and ALM usage. Strong PL/SQL and knowledge of EFT/NACHA are required.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited College/University in the applicable field is required.
• 20+ years of Oracle EBS related experience.
• Subject Matter expertise in implementing Oracle EBS Financials modules (PO, AR, AP, FA, PA, GL).
• Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL and familiar with payment processing (EFT/NACHA).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum processes and ITSM tools (ServiceNow).

Responsibilities

• Manage critical project tasks and deliverables.
• Troubleshoot advanced technical issues and coordinate with vendor/internal teams.

Overview

• Tier One Technologies is seeking an Oracle eBusiness Suite Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support our direct US Government client.
• This is going to be a 100% remote position originated in Arlington, VA.
• SELECTED CANDIDATES WITHOUT REQUIRED CLEARANCE WILL BE SUBJECT TO A FEDERAL GOVERNMENT BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION TO RECEIVE IT.

Responsibilities

• Lead a project team to develop, plan, and manage critical project tasks to implementing modules relating to the functionality of Oracle eBusiness Suite Financials - Purchasing (PO), Accounts Receivables (AR), Accounts Payables (AP), Fixed Assets (FA), Project Accounting (PA) and General Ledger (GL).
• Lead NAOFA project team to develop, plan, and manage critical project tasks.
• Take responsibility for advanced technical issues in the environment for problem resolution.
• Respond promptly to incidents in ServiceNow.
• Diagnose and repair system problems working closely with vendor support or internal teams for all servers, software and other hardware directly or with the team members.
• Create time sensitive deliverables.
• Lead in AI, VersionOne, and ALM usage by the development team.
• Play a lead role in meetings relating to specific technical projects or tasks.
• Participate in the preparation of materials and oral presentations for senior executives/directors, and customers.

Qualifications

• A degree from an accredited College/University in the applicable field of services is required. If the individual's degree is not in the applicable field, then four additional years of related experience is required.
• 20+ years of Oracle EBS related experience.
• Subject Matter expertise in implementing modules relating to the functionality of Oracle eBusiness Suite, Financials - Purchasing (PO), Accounts Receivables (AR), Accounts Payables (AP), Fixed Assets (FA), Project Accounting (PA) and General Ledger (GL).
• In-depth knowledge of the modules to minimize the RICE development and use COTS functionality in designing solutions.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum processes and management tools (preferably VersionOne) and IT Service Management Systems (preferably ServiceNow).
• Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL.
• Strong knowledge of payment processing and methods including EFT and NACHA requirements.
• Knowledge of Kafka Queues, APIs, and Flat File processing.
• Flexible and willing to work on-call, including overnights and weekends, as required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must be US Citizens or have permanent residence status (Green Card).
• Must be able to obtain Public Trust Clearance.
• Candidate must have lived in the United States for the past 5 years.
• Cannot have more than 6 months travel outside the United States within the last 5 years. Military Service excluded.
