Job summary

Avacend Inc. seeks an Oracle EBS functional consultant with hands-on configuration and data mapping experience in Manufacturing and SCM modules such as WIP, BOM, Inventory Management, Order Management, and Purchasing.

You will map Procure-to-Pay and Order-to-Cash workflows to Oracle EBS configurations, perform fit-gap analyses, draft technical specs for developers, and support SIT/UAT and production issues on active assembly lines.

Qualifications

• Hands-on configuration and data mapping in Oracle EBS modules (Manufacturing, SCM) and related areas.

Responsibilities

• Translate Procure-to-Pay and Order-to-Cash workflows into Oracle EBS configurations.
• Conduct fit-gap analyses and draft technical specifications for developers to build extensions or integrations.
• Create and execute detailed functional test scripts and coordinate SIT/UAT with stakeholders.
• Provide production support for transaction processing blocks and data sync issues on active systems.

• Required Candidates must have hands-on configuration and data mapping experience with specific Oracle EBS R12 modules: Manufacturing Execution: WIP, BOM, Logistics & Fulfillment: Inventory Management (INV), Order Management (OM) Procurement: Purchasing (PO). Nice to have Oracle Quality and WMS experience

Key Responsibilities

• Business Process Mapping: Translating traditional Procure-to-Pay (P2P) and Order-to-Cash (O2C) operational workflows into standardized Oracle EBS system configurations.
• Fit-Gap Analysis & Customization: Conducting assessments to identify gaps between out-of-the-box EBS processes and manufacturing business rules; drafting technical specifications for developers to build extensions, custom reports, or API integrations.
• Testing & Validation: Writing detailed functional test scripts and orchestrating System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) alongside key stakeholders.
• Production Support : Troubleshooting transaction processing blocks, resolving cost accounting variances, or fixing data sync breaks on active assembly line systems.

Must have Skills:

• MES - Working knowledge of Oracle SCM
