Job summary

Prospance Inc in Philadelphia seeks an experienced Oracle EBS R12 SCM Functional Consultant to support and enhance our Supply Chain processes across OM, INV, PO, and Shipping. You will partner with business users and IT teams to gather requirements, perform fit-gap analyses, configure setups, prepare MD50 documents, and lead UAT.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of hands-on Oracle EBS SCM experience, strong knowledge of O2C and P2P cycles, SQL troubleshooting, and proven project involvement.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on Oracle E-Business Suite R12 SCM experience.
• Strong working knowledge of Order Management, Inventory, and Purchasing; exposure to Shipping Execution, BOM, and Costing.
• Solid understanding of Order-to-Cash and Procure-to-Pay cycles.
• Experience writing functional specifications and test scripts and leading UAT.
• Working knowledge of SQL for data validation and troubleshooting.
• Experience with production support and ticket-based issue resolution.
• Understanding of accounting fundamentals and Finance module integration.
• Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Oracle EBS R12 SCM Functional Consultant to support and enhance our Supply Chain Management applications. The consultant will work with business users and technical teams to configure, support, and improve Oracle R12 SCM processes across Order Management, Inventory, Purchasing, and Shipping.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the functional lead for Oracle R12 SCM modules (OM, INV, PO, Shipping, and related modules)
• Gather business requirements, conduct fit-gap analysis, and recommend solutions
• Configure and maintain module setups, including organizations, subinventories, order types, workflows, and approval hierarchies
• Prepare functional design documents (MD50) for reports, interfaces, conversions, extensions, and workflows (RICEW)
• Develop test scripts and support SIT and UAT, including defect tracking and resolution
• Provide production support: analyze incidents, identify root causes, and implement fixes within SLAs
• Support enhancements, patches, and upgrades, including regression testing
• Support data migration and conversion activities
• Work with Finance teams to ensure integration with AP, AR, GL, and Costing
• Create user documentation and train end users
• Collaborate with business stakeholders in Operations, Customer Service, Sales, Logistics, and Finance

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on Oracle E-Business Suite R12 SCM functional experience
• Strong working knowledge of Order Management, Inventory, and Purchasing; exposure to Shipping Execution, BOM, and Costing
• Solid understanding of Order-to-Cash and Procure-to-Pay cycles
• Experience writing functional specifications and test scripts and leading UAT
• Working knowledge of SQL for data validation and troubleshooting
• Experience with production support and ticket-based issue resolution
• Understanding of accounting fundamentals and Finance module integration
• Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Advanced Pricing, WMS, or Supplier Management
• Logistics exposure: material transactions, barcode scanning, and label printing
• Experience with end-to-end implementation, upgrade, or migration projects
• Familiarity with Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio
