Ability to design, implement, and automate database maintenance and security tasks.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain Oracle databases for production, QA, and development.
Perform upgrades, patching cycles, and schema migrations.
Monitor health and performance; tune queries, indexes, and configurations.
Administer SQL Server instances as secondary systems, ensuring stability.
Implement and maintain backup and recovery strategies for both platforms.
Manage replication, high availability, and failover technologies (Data Guard, AlwaysOn).
Develop automation scripts to improve efficiency and reduce manual workload.
Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure data integrity.
