DC Government is seeking a Net Database Developer with GIS Experience to join our IT team in Washington, DC. The role focuses on coordinating and managing IT projects, developing robust database platforms, and enforcing standards to ensure compliant, reliable systems.

The candidate will plan activities, provide training, perform upgrades, monitor real-time data, and troubleshoot issues, ensuring adherence to District requirements and procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate IT project activities across management, engineering, maintenance, QA and risk.
• Plan, coordinate and monitor project activities to ensure milestones.
• Develop technical database platforms to support users.
• Develop, implement and enforce standards and procedures for design, development, installation, modification and documentation.
• Provide training for system products and procedures.
• Perform application upgrades and real‑time monitoring of databases and communications.
• Troubleshoot issues and ensure project lifecycle complies with District standards.
