Job summary

Next Ventures seeks an experienced Lead ERP Financials Consultant to drive Oracle Cloud Financials implementations for construction, engineering, or capital projects. You will lead discovery workshops, design solutions, and guide end-to-end delivery, including tax considerations.

You will mentor staff, support pre-sales, and contribute to innovation across the Oracle ERP portfolio. Strong client-facing skills are essential, with travel on key dates.

Qualifications

• Extensive Oracle Cloud Financials implementation experience.

Job title: Lead ERP Financials Consultant

The ideal candidate will be a highly experienced Oracle Cloud Financials professional with a proven track record of delivering successful ERP transformations within construction, engineering, real estate, or project-based organisations. They will possess deep knowledge of Oracle Cloud Financials and Project Financial Management, including project costing, project billing, revenue recognition, retention, WIP reporting, job costing, and construction industry best practices. The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor to clients, leading discovery workshops, solution design, implementation, and business transformation initiatives. They will also bring strong knowledge of US tax requirements, including sales and use tax, 1099 reporting, multi-state tax considerations, and experience with Oracle Tax, Vertex, or Avalara solutions. In addition to project delivery responsibilities, the role will contribute to practice growth through mentoring consultants, supporting pre-sales activities, developing industry propositions, and driving innovation across the Oracle ERP portfolio.
