Job summary

PURVIS Systems is seeking an Oracle Cloud Architect to serve as a Troubleshooting Coordinator in a hybrid cloud environment. The role requires collaboration across Network, Applications, Systems, and Vendors, with some time at the Brooklyn client site in NY.

The candidate should have advanced OCI expertise, strong Linux/Windows administration, and mandatory Ansible automation experience. Containerization and Kubernetes proficiency are essential for building robust cloud-native solutions.

Qualifications

Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (Advanced).
Linux System administration (advanced).
Windows Administration (intermediate).
Ansible Automation (mandatory).
Containerization and Kubernetes experience.

Responsibilities

Engage with Network, Application, Systems and Vendors to troubleshoot and coordinate across domains.
Manage cloud infrastructure, storage, and APIs for application access.
Develop functions to automate scheduled processes and CI/CD workflows.
Ensure cloud security including IAM, WAF, Security Lists, and NSGs.
Monitor and troubleshoot outages using cloud metrics/logging; experience with Splunk preferred.
Collaborate with developers to remediate security vulnerabilities and integrate logs with Splunk or equivalent.
