Qualifications

One of our clients in the government domain is seeking an is seeking an experienced Oracle APEX & Forms Developer to support the modernization of legacy Oracle Forms applications and their migration to Oracle APEX on Oracle Database 19c.

Oracle APEX & Forms Developer

Location: Dauphin County, PA
Work Schedule: 37.5 Hours/Week (7.5 Hours/Day, Monday-Friday)
Duration: Long-Term Contract.

This role will be responsible for transforming mission-critical environmental and regulatory applications into modern, secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions while aligning with Commonwealth and BIT development standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong Oracle APEX development expertise, advanced PL/SQL programming skills, and hands-on experience working with Oracle Forms modernization initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze existing Oracle Forms applications, including architecture, data models, business logic, and integrations.
• Participate in the migration and conversion of legacy Oracle Forms applications to Oracle APEX.
• Design, develop, and maintain Oracle APEX applications using modern development standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with technical leadership to establish UI/UX standards for future APEX applications.
• Develop and maintain Oracle PL/SQL components, including:
  • Stored Procedures
  • Functions
  • Packages
  • Complex SQL Queries
• Perform data analysis, reporting, and scripting activities to support business requirements.
• Review and interpret system documentation, technical specifications, and business requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of hands-on experience with Oracle PL/SQL development, including:

• 5-7 years of experience developing and supporting Oracle APEX applications.
• Strong expertise with Oracle Database (Oracle 19c preferred).
