Techwizens LLC seeks an Oracle Agile PLM / PDM Functional Consultant to provide application support and development across Agile PLM, BOM, AMLs and ERP/CPQ integration. You will own functional incidents, drive improvements and mentor junior consultants.

Responsibilities

Oracle Agile PLM / PDM Functional Consultant – Application Support & Development – Role Summary

The Oracle Agile PLM / PDM Functional Consultant is responsible for supporting and enhancing Agile Product Lifecycle Management, including product data management (items, BOMs, AMLs), change management and the flow of product data to ERP and CPQ.

The role combines product data and engineering change expertise with Agile configuration skills, turning engineering and operations requests into accurate, controlled changes.

This role works closely with engineering, product management, manufacturing operations, Agile technical consultants and ERP / CPQ teams.

1. Role Objectives

• Own functional support of Agile PLM / PDM
• Keep product records, BOMs and change orders accurate and flowing to ERP and CPQ
• Support consolidation of multiple Agile instances where applicable
• Reduce repeat requests through self-service reporting and knowledge

2. Responsibilities (Service Lifecycle Aligned)

A. Application Support (Run)

• Resolve functional incidents and requests in:
• Items, revisions and lifecycle phases
• BOMs and approved manufacturer lists (AML)
• Change orders (ECO / MCO) and workflows
• User access and roles
• Process report and data requests
• Support new product introduction peaks

B. Incident, Problem & Root Cause

• Analyse recurring issues, for example:
• BOM mismatches between Agile and ERP
• Workflow routing and approval failures
• Raise problem records and support RCA
• Document known errors and workarounds

C. Minor Enhancements & Functional Development

• Gather requirements with engineering and operations
• Configure and maintain:
• Classes, subclasses and attributes
• Lifecycle phases and workflows
• Criteria, privileges and roles
• Part-number and SKU request processes
• Unit test and support UAT for enhancements up to 80 hours

D. Release, Testing & Patching

• Assess functional impact of Agile patches
• Execute functional regression
• Coordinate UAT and sign-off

E. Integration & Data Alignment

• Validate product data flows with:
• ERP (material master, BOM)
• Data warehouse / reporting
• Support data quality checks and clean-up
• Coordinate with Agile technical for integration fixes
• Write runbooks for top request types
• Convert repetitive report requests to self-service
• Cross-skill colleagues (CPQ functional) and mentor junior consultants
