Job summary

CSSOLUTIONS is seeking a strong Oracle DBA with 8+ years of production experience, including 3+ years with Exadata and cloud deployments. You will support PeopleSoft databases, perform upgrades, environment refreshes, and tune batch and online performance.

You will work with Oracle 19c RAC/ASM Data Guard RMAN, lead major migrations from on‑prem to Exadata or cloud, and apply expert SQL/PLSQL tuning using AWR/ASH and SQL Monitor.

Qualifications

• 8+ years as an Oracle DBA supporting large production systems.
• 3+ years of hands-on Oracle Exadata administration, on-prem, Cloud@Customer, or cloud.
• Direct experience supporting PeopleSoft databases, including PeopleTools upgrades, environment refreshes, and PeopleSoft batch and online performance tuning.
• Deep experience with Oracle Database 19c, RAC, ASM, Grid Infrastructure, Data Guard, and RMAN.
• Led or held a major role in at least one large Oracle migration, such as on-prem to Exadata or on-prem to cloud.
• Strong SQL and PL/SQL tuning skills using AWR, ASH, SQL Monitor, execution plans, and SQL Plan Management.
• Solid Linux administration and shell scripting.

Responsibilities

• Support and optimize large production Oracle environments.
• Lead migration projects from on‑prem to Exadata or cloud deployments.
• Tune SQL/PL/SQL, using AWR/ASH and execution plans.
• Maintain PeopleSoft databases, perform upgrades and environment refreshes.
• Administer Linux servers and write shell scripts for automation.

Summary:

Strong Oracle DBA with Google Cloud Platform or any cloud platform with supporting Peoplesoft Databases and oracle migration work.

• 8+ years as an Oracle DBA supporting large production systems (Senior).
• 3+ years of hands-on Oracle Exadata administration, on-prem, Cloud@Customer, or cloud.
• Direct experience supporting PeopleSoft databases, including PeopleTools upgrades, environment refreshes, and PeopleSoft batch and online performance tuning.
• Deep experience with Oracle Database 19c, RAC, ASM, Grid Infrastructure, Data Guard, and RMAN.
• Led or held a major role in at least one large Oracle migration, such as on-prem to Exadata or on-prem to cloud.

Preferred

• Experience with Oracle Database@Google Cloud, Oracle Database@Azure, Oracle Database@AWS, or Exadata Database Service in OCI.
• Hands-on Zero Downtime Migration and GoldenGate experience.
• PeopleSoft Campus Solutions experience in higher education.
• PeopleSoft Financials/SCM experience, including close-cycle support.
• Working knowledge of Google Cloud networking, IAM, and monitoring.
• Familiarity with the PeopleSoft application tier (WebLogic, Tuxedo, DPK deployments) for end-to-end troubleshooting.
• Infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible).
• Oracle certifications such as OCP, Exadata Implementation Specialist, or OCI Architect.
