Job summary

logicerainc is seeking a developer to advance Oracle APEX applications, covering Interactive Grids, Dynamic Actions, and complex SQL. You will modernize legacy systems, and connect front-end UIs with back-end databases and third-party APIs to ensure seamless operation.

The role requires 2-3 years' experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or Computer Science. Strong PL/SQL/SQL skills and ORDS/REST API experience are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or Computer Science with 2-3 years of experience.
• Proficient in Oracle APEX with Interactive Grids, Dynamic Actions, and UI customization.
• Strong PL/SQL and SQL skills.
• Experience with ORDS and REST API integration.
• Experience with financial applications (accrual, reconciliation, reporting).
• Ability to design scalable, secure, high-performance APEX solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop Oracle APEX application functionality, including Interactive Grids, Dynamic Actions, validations, and workflow logic.
• Maintain, debug, and upgrade existing legacy applications to improve performance, functionality, and user experience.
• Integrate frontend user interfaces with backend databases and third-party APIs to ensure systems work together seamlessly.
• Write, optimize, and tune complex SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, views, and functions to improve database performance.
• Develop and implement efficient DDL and DML structures to support application and database requirements.
• Create and maintain database systems, including PL/SQL triggers and stored procedures; code, test, and debug database programs.
• Review, and revise database programs to increase operating efficiency and improve execution time.
• Monitor database performance, index usage, and system health to proactively identify and resolve access and performance issues.
• Implement new or revised systems to improve workflow and develop technical solutions based on end-user requirements.
• Collaborate with application development staff and stakeholders on technical requirements, coding standards, quality assurance, and production support.
