IPTA seeks a senior Oracle database engineer to lead the migration of a legacy Army Enterprise System into Palantir Foundry (Army Vantage). You will serve as the Oracle 19c expert, managing extraction, schema mapping, and data quality while ensuring DoD and NIPRNet compliance.

The role emphasizes migration engineering over steady-state maintenance, with collaboration across engineering, security, and program management teams. Remote work is supported; an active Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Oracle database administration experience
• Advanced Oracle 19c expertise including RMAN, Data Pump, ASM, PL/SQL, and partitioning
• Working knowledge of Oracle Data Guard replication
• DoD environment experience: STIG-hardened baselines, RMF, NIPRNet constraints
• Active Secret security clearance required

Responsabilités

• Serves as the Oracle 19c database authority for the migration to Palantir Foundry (Army Vantage)
• Extracts Oracle 19c on NIPRNet and stages a point-in-time, integrity-validated snapshot for Palantir Foundry
• Reverse-engineers legacy schema and maps source-to-target data for migration
• Analyzes legacy PL/SQL and ETL to determine refactor or retirement
• Performs data profiling, cleansing, and reconciliation for migrated data
• Works within Oracle Data Guard topology to enable repeatable extract and incremental sync
• Partitions, bulk-loads, and tunes migration throughput
• Applies DoD/Army requirements (STIG, RMF, NIPRNet) during transition
