Job summary

TotalMed RN is seeking an OR travel nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment in Lebanon, New Hampshire. The role involves 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts, with travel nursing status and ACLS/BLS requirements.

Candidates should have 1–2 years of recent acute care experience as circulating or scrub nurse, and possibly RN First Assistant duties. The OR travel nurse will assist physicians, provide pre/post-surgery education, and perform both circulating and scrub duties as needed.

Qualifications

• ACLS and BLS certifications required; 4+ years of experience noted.
• 1–2 years recent acute care experience in OR settings preferred (circulating/scrub).
• May include RN first assistant duties for some assignments.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and staff in caring for surgical patients.
• Provide pre- and post-surgery education to patients and families.
• Circulating OR duties: monitor patient, handle instruments outside sterile field.
• Scrub OR duties: prepare and handle instruments within sterile field.
• RN First Assistant duties: assist with direct surgical care and bleeding control.
