Job summary

Ingenovis Health is partnering with UK King’s Daughters as the employer of record for Riverspan to fill an Operating Room Technician role. The OR Tech will prepare the OR, instruments, and supplies, ensure sterility, assist during procedures, monitor the patient, and track supplies and tools used.

Requirements include 1–2 years of recent OR experience, an active license or accreditation in any U.S. state, and additional certifications as requested by the facility.

Job description

As an Operating Room Technician, also sometimes called Surgical Technologists, you are an important part of the operating room team. OR Techs prepare the operating room, instruments, supplies, and you must be able to confidently ensure the sterility of the equipment and environment. Other typical OR Tech job duties include assisting during the procedure, monitoring the patient, and carefully monitoring supplies and tools used.

Basic professional requirements

• 1-2 years recent experience in the job's primary area of care
• Active license or appropriate accreditation in one of the 50 US states
• Additional requirements & certifications as may be requested by the specificfacility/unit
• An enthusiastic, adventurous spirit with a desire to help
