Job summary

Heritage Valley Sewickley is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join the Operating Room team. You will assist in surgical procedures, prepare sterile fields, and maintain OR equipment. Two years OR experience and AST certification are preferred, along with meeting annual continuing education requirements.

This role requires compliance with clearances within 90 days of employment and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of accredited Surgical Technology program.
• BLS certification required.
• Annual continuing education requirements for Surgical Technologist.

• Provides direct patient care utilizing knowledge in surgical technique, operative procedures and operating room technology.
