Job summary

Azza HealthCare Agency is seeking an Operating Room Surgical Technologist in Massachusetts. You will facilitate safe, efficient surgical care under RN supervision and scrub on cases, preparing supplies and equipment as needed.

The role requires graduation from an accredited Surgical Technology program with NBSTSA certification and a BLS credential. Preferred is at least one year of certified surgical technologist experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technology
• Certification by the NBSTSA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Preferred: One year of experience as a certified surgical technologist

Responsibilities

• Facilitate safe and effective surgical care under RN supervision.
• Select and prepare supplies and equipment for procedures.
• Scrub on surgical cases and operate surgical equipment as directed.
• Organize instrumentation and participate in surgical counts.
• Perform related activities as directed by RNs and surgeons.
