Job summary

WMCH Weirton Medical Center is seeking a Central Processing role to manage sterile instruments, supplies, and case carts for the Operating Room. Responsibilities include monitoring sterilizers, assisting perioperative staff, and maintaining accurate records of loads and packaging.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, Central Processing certification, and BLS within 30 days of hire. At least one year in central processing or an OR-related area is expected.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage supplies and instruments for the Operating Room and CPD.
• Order, receive, and distribute case carts and supplies to support OR schedules.
• Ensure stock levels and proper packaging and labelling of items.
• Sterilize and prepare instruments and assist perioperative staff as directed.
• Monitor sterilization processes and maintain accurate load logs.
