Job summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Pendleton, OR operating room. The role emphasizes leadership, safe surgical practice, and collaboration with anesthesia and surgeons to deliver high-quality patient care.

The RN will scrub or circulate, participate in conscious sedation, and continually reassess patient plans. Requirements include RN license in Oregon, at least one year of acute care experience, and AHA BLS; ACLS is required within six months of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum of 1 year acute care or clinic RN experience.
• Oregon RN license required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required/within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe surgical environment with sterile technique.
• Assist anesthesia/surgeon; prepare OR equipment and lab specimens.
• Circulate and/or scrub a case as needed.
• Provide Conscious Sedation to Endoscopy patients.
• Continuously assess and prioritize patient health; adjust care plans.
