Job summary

IU Health in Indiana is seeking passionate OR nurses and recent RN graduates to join our team and support the intraoperative process across Main Hospital and ASC locations.

You will assist anesthesia and surgeons, maintain sterility, and provide critical care for cardiac, orthopedics, neurology, and other specialties. A six‑month orientation, RN licensure, and BLS are required, with opportunities for growth and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Requires ASN; BSN preferred.
• Active RN license in Indiana or NLC.
• Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• BLS certification through AHA; additional life support may be required per unit.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients in the intraoperative setting and assist anesthesia and surgeon.
• Maintain sterility of instruments and equipment during procedures.
• Provide critical care support for cases involving cardiac, orthopedics, neurology and other specialties.
• Care for patients across Main Hospital and ASC locations; • on-call may be required.
