Job summary

Mercy Hospital Washington is seeking an Operating Room RN – First Assistant to deliver high-quality patient care using the nursing process. You will coordinate care with other departments, uphold patient rights, and demonstrate Mercy’s mission and values.

This full-time role offers a 4days/10hrs schedule, day shifts with call, and a comprehensive benefits package including a $20,000 sign-on bonus, tuition reimbursement, and retirement benefits.

Qualifications

• Current RN Temporary Permit or RN License in the State of Missouri.
• Minimum 2 years of intraoperative experience as both scrub and circulating nurse; 3+ years preferred.
• BLS/ACLS – required within 1 year of hire
• CNOR & RN-First Assistant certification required within 1 year
• Preferred CNOR, CRNFA
• BSN preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinating patient care in collaboration with other departments
• Ensuring patient rights and confidentiality are upheld
• Providing leadership, guidance, and evaluation of other caregivers
