Job summary

Kettering Health Network is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide and coordinate patient care in collaboration with the health care team in Ohio. The RN uses the nursing process across settings, adheres to care standards, and participates in performance improvement while advocating for patient safety.

With a mission to live God's love, KHN operates 14 medical centers and 120+ outpatient facilities in southwest Ohio, emphasizing safety, quality, and compassionate care in every interaction.

Qualifications

• Licensed in the state of Ohio as a Registered Nurse.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (NLN, ACEN, or CCNE) if new graduate.
• BSN preferred (must be completed within 5 years of hire).
• Returning nurse after five years may need refresher course evidence.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS, NRP, PALS as determined by unit scope of practice.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process in providing care to patients in collaboration with other providers.
• RN is accountable for their own professional development and practice within the scope of care defined by law.
• Acts as a patient advocate, using organizational resources to deliver safe care including delegation and performance improvement.
• Care delivery reflects Kettering Health Network's mission, vision, values, and nursing philosophy.
