Job Summary

The OR Team Leader is responsible for overseeing patient care within assigned service lines, utilizing the nursing process. This role requires clinical expertise and strong coordination skills to manage designated service lines effectively. The Team Leader ensures 24/7 coverage by serving as a resource and designating an alternate Team Leader when absent. Responsibilities include collaboration with nursing staff, Certified Surgical Technologists, and acting as a liaison with physicians, anesthesia, clinics, and other stakeholders as needed. The position manages clinical operations, equipment, instruments, supplies, repairs, regulatory compliance, audits, staff training, and other duties as directed by the Clinical Staff Nurse Manager and OR Nursing Director. The role involves approximately 80% direct engagement in Operating Rooms (OR) and 20% administrative responsibilities.
