Job summary

Eastern Oklahoma VA Health Care System is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care within a Level 1c complexity setting across multiple clinics and a hospital campus. You will work under the VA nursing standards, delivering safe and effective care and coordinating with interdisciplinary teams.

Candidates must have an RN license and BSN or higher, with English proficiency and adherence to licensure requirements.

Qualifications

• English proficiency per VA qualifications
• Graduate of a school of professional nursing approved by accrediting bodies (ACEN/CCNE)
• State licensure and ongoing licensure requirements
• Foreign education equivalency validation may be required for some candidates
• Reference VA Handbook 5005 for qualification standards

Responsibilities

• Deliver and supervise nursing care following the nursing process
• Coordinate patient care across multidisciplinary teams
• Administer medications and procedures per policies
• Contribute to unit quality improvement and customer service initiatives
• Maintain timely documentation and ensure therapy and care continuity
