Job summary

Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking an Experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the Resource Pool - Operating Room. The role is in a flexi days schedule with on-call requirements and a minimum of 2 on-call shifts per month, providing nursing care in the OR setting.

Candidates should hold an ADN with BSN preferred, and a Virginia or compact multistate RN license. BLS within 90 days of hire and OR experience of at least 18 months are required.

Qualifications

• ADN required; BSN or higher preferred.
• Virginia or compact multistate RN license in good standing.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Minimum of 18 months OR RN experience in OR.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent nursing care using the nursing process.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care in OR.
• Collaborate with the OR team to ensure patient safety and efficiency.
