Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare in Houston is looking for a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of clinical experience as a licensed RN, preferably in surgical services. Responsibilities include patient evaluation, education, and preparation for surgery, along with participating in surgical site verifications. Qualifications

• 1+ year of clinical experience in OR, CVOR, Perioperative Services.
• Current Registered Nurse License in Texas or Multi-State Compact License.
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients prior to surgery.
• Provide patient education surrounding procedures.
• Assume responsibility for patient preparation.
