East Norriton Surgery Center, located in East Norriton, PA 19403, seeks an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to support patients through the perioperative process. The RN provides comprehensive nursing care, circulates and scrubs, and collaborates with surgeons to maintain a safe, organized operating room environment.

Qualifications

• Requires nursing degree and RN license, BLS, and at least 3 years OR nursing experience.
• Must have active RN license in good standing and BLS certification.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient assessment skills are essential.

Responsabilités

• Assess patients, monitor vital signs, and identify changes in condition.
• Circulate and scrub during surgical procedures.
• Prepare the operating room and ensure instruments and supplies are ready.
• Operate C-arm/fluoroscopy equipment under surgeon guidance.
• Develop and implement patient care plans and communicate with the surgical team.
• Maintain documentation and follow infection control and safety protocols.
• Report concerns to appropriate providers.

Full-Time | $45-$50/hour | Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM-3:00 PM

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse to support patients throughout the surgical process. The RN provides comprehensive nursing care, collaborates with surgeons and clinical staff, and helps maintain a safe, organized operating room environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients, monitor vital signs, and identify changes in condition.
• Circulate and scrub during surgical procedures.
• Prepare the operating room and ensure necessary instruments and supplies are available.
• Operate C-arm/fluoroscopy equipment under the surgeon’s guidance.
• Develop and implement patient care plans and communicate effectively with the surgical team.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow infection control, safety, and facility protocols.
• Evaluate patient responses and report concerns to the appropriate providers.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing or equivalent qualifying education.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• Current BLS certification.
• At least 3 years of operating room nursing experience.
• Strong patient assessment, communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.

Preferred

• Ambulatory surgery center or pain management experience.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Certified Post-Anesthesia Nurse (CPAN).
• Experience with C-arm/fluoroscopy equipment.
