Job summary

MU Health Care, based at University Hospital in Columbia, MO, seeks a dedicated Nurse for the OR/Recovery unit. The position features three 12-hour shifts (7 pm–7:30 am), on-site, with at least one year of critical care RN experience preferred.

You will provide direct perioperative patient care, participate in care planning, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes across the surgical continuum.

Qualifications

• RN license in Missouri or multi-state compact
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience
• Demonstrated ability to plan, implement and evaluate nursing care

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care to an assigned group of patients.
• Plan, direct, and/or participate in education of patient, family, and health professionals.
• Report observations and reactions to physicians and nursing leadership and document accurately.
