Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital Fort Worth is seeking a Radiology Tech for the Operating Room to perform high-quality radiographic procedures in a fast-paced surgical environment. The role requires ARRT certification, MRT license, and BLS, with at least 2 years of OR imaging experience.

You will operate C-Arms and O-Arms, maintain QC logs, and support interventional radiology under physician guidance. The hospital offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities in a collaborative setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience specific to surgical/diagnostic radiological exams.
• Experience using C-Arms in an Operating room.
• Current ARRT certificate.
• Current MRT General License.
• Current BLS certification.
• Excellent communication with staff, physicians, patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Performs quality diagnostic procedures accurately and in a timely manner for the hospital and outpatient center.
• Under minimal supervision, performs operating room radiographic procedures as requested by a licensed physician.
• Provides technical support for interventional radiographic examinations.
• Operates imaging equipment, C-Arms, O-Arms, and prepares examination rooms.
• Maintains equipment, supplies, and medications; produces high quality radiographs in OR, Urography, and related procedures.
• Assists practitioner with fluoroscopy, arthrography, and OR procedures.
• Practices radiation safety and completes QC checks and logs.
• Adheres to aseptic procedures and communicates incidents to management.
• Takes department call as assigned.
