Job summary

United Surgical Partners International's North Central Imaging team is seeking a PRN Operating Room X-Ray Technologist to join the Imaging department. The OR Radiology Technologist will set up sterile trays and assist radiologists during myelogram, arthrogram, aspiration and steroid injection exams, and handle emergent X-rays from the ED and inpatient areas and any walk-in, routine X-rays ordered.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology.
• AART Registered in Radiology.
• Texas state license to Texas Medical Board.
• 3 years hospital experience preferred.
• Knowledgeable of Joint Commission Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Set up sterile trays and assist radiologists during procedures (myelogram, arthrogram, aspiration, steroid injections).
• Perform emergent X-rays from the ED and inpatient areas and routine X-rays as ordered.

We are currently looking for a PRN Operating Room X-Ray Technologistto join ourImaging team.

Job Summary:

The OR X-Ray Radiology Technologist will be responsible for setting up sterile trays and assisting the radiologists during the following procedures: myelogram, arthrogram, aspiration and steroid injection exams. The technologist will also be responsible for emergent X-rays from the ED and the In-Patient areas and any walk in, routine X-rays ordered. The North Central Imaging department is a fast paced area and the technologist must be flexible to move between multiple exams, areas and be able to manage his/her time effective and communicate well while maintaining a positive attitude.

• Experience with the following equipment is desired:C-arm (large and mini), O-arm, Portable Digital Equipment
• BLS current
• Must have a current Texas state license to Texas Medical Board
• 3 years of hospital experiencepreferred
• Knowledgeable of local, state, federal and Joint Commission Regulations
