Job summary

Parkridge Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a Radiologic Technologist/OR Specialist to perform imaging procedures and provide real-time intraoperative imaging support for surgeons. Seeking ARRT‑R certification within 1 year, an accredited radiologic technology degree, BCLS, and 1 year post‑grad experience.

Qualifications

• BCLS required (Basic Cardiac Life Support)
• ARRT-R radiography certification within 1 year of employment start date
• Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology; AA or BS degree

Responsibilities

• Operate department equipment safely with adherence to radiation safety protocols
• Obtain high-quality radiographic images during procedures and document exams in the system
• Work with surgeons to provide real-time imaging support and assist during procedures
• Maintain sterile field and proper aseptic technique while operating imaging equipment
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and adapt in dynamic surgical settings
• Follow quality control procedures for equipment and accessories
• Communicate effectively with patients, doctors, and coworkers
• Mentor new hires and radiology students
