Job summary

Avera is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to operate radiologic equipment and capture diagnostic images as directed by physicians. You will work with surgeons and staff to deliver high‑quality images and coordinate schedules for procedures.

Responsibilities include proper patient positioning, exposure settings, lead shielding, and maintaining documentation. This role requires ARRT certification within 60 days and may require scheduling flexibility as a PRN position.

Qualifications

• Must have high visual acuity and ability to communicate effectively.
• ARRT certification required within 60 days of hire.
• 2+ years in radiology workflow or surgical imaging preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and adjust equipment for exposure according to procedures.
• Operate c‑arm and ERCP equipment to obtain diagnostic images.
• Ensure ALARA principles and protect exposed areas with shielding.
