Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a registered nurse to deliver professional nursing care across preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative settings for operative procedures. You will scrub, circulate, monitor patient condition, assist with hemostasis and suturing, and ensure safe patient positioning throughout the surgical journey.

Requirements include PA RN licensure (or eNLC), current CPR certification, and PA background clearances.

Qualifications

• PA RN licensure or multistate licensure via eNLC.
• Current CPR certification.
• Act 34, Act 33, Act 73 background clearances.

Responsibilities

• Performs scrub functions including the selection and handling of instruments and supplies used during procedure.
• Performs circulating functions including monitoring, recording and communicating patient condition and managing overall nursing care of patient before, during and after procedure.
• Assists operating physician with surgical tasks including hemostasis, suturing and wound exposure as well as patient positioning.
• Performs other duties as assigned or required.
