Job summary

US Fertility in Menlo Park, CA is seeking an OR/PACU RN for a part-time role. The position offers $65 to $70 per hour, with a schedule of Tuesday through Thursday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, plus one weekend per month and two holidays per year.

This role supports our nationally respected fertility care team. You will perform preoperative assessments, manage anesthesia-related care, provide patient and family support, and collaborate with a large network of physicians to ensure high-quality

Qualifications

• Active RN license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification.
• 2–3 years clinical experience in Operating/Procedure Room or PACU preferred.
• Strong technical and clinical assessment skills.
• Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer.
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate good judgment.
• Ability to communicate accurately and concisely.

Responsibilities

• Utilize advanced assessment skills to identify patient care problems and develop plans.
• Perform initial preoperative assessment and explain phases of surgery.
• Provide comfort and psychological support to patient and family.
• Demonstrate proficiency in caring for patients with various anesthesia or conscious sedation.
• Administer medications by IV and other routes as directed.

Opportunity Overview

We have an immediate opening for an OR/PACU RN Part-Time to join our team at Reproductive Science Center of the San Francisco Bay Area in Menlo Park, California.

• Schedule: Tuesday through Thursday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM; one weekend per month and two holidays per year
• Compensation:$65 to $70 per hour (commensurate with experience)

In this role, the OR/PACU RN will:

• Utilize advanced assessment skills to identify patient care problems, formulate patient care plans
• Perform initial preoperative assessment, develops a plan of care, and explains the subsequent phases of surgery
• Provide comfort measures and psychological support to the patient and family members
• Demonstrate proficiency in caring for patients who have received various types of anesthesia or conscious sedation
• Administer medications by direct intravenous and other routes as directed

• Active RN license
