Job summary

Adventist Health Glendale is seeking an experienced RN Manager for the OR to lead perioperative services. The role focuses on safe patient care, staff supervision, and collaboration with physicians and administrators on daily operations.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in nursing (Master's preferred), several years of acute care leadership, and a track record of improving patient safety and throughput.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing is required.
• Master's degree is preferred.
• Five years of technical experience is preferred.
• One year's leadership experience is preferred.
• Two years of acute care nursing in hospital setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Builds a high performing clinical work team by recruiting and retaining skilled staff and coordinating care across shifts.
• Sets and strives to achieve goals for patient safety, quality of care and regulatory compliance.
• Conducts daily rounds with physicians and other staff to coordinate care and address issues.
• Manages unit staffing, overtime decisions, and monthly scheduling to maintain adequate coverage.
