InfiniSource Consulting Solutions, Inc. is seeking an OR Nurse in Maryland to join our surgical team. The role involves delivering patient-centered care before, during, and after operations.

You will scrub and circulate, collaborate with surgeons, and ensure patient safety while maintaining clear communication with the team. Candidates must be a licensed RN in Maryland with BSN/MSN preferred and BLS certification, with at least one year in a surgical setting.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program with ongoing licensure requirements.
• Must hold Maryland RN license or Compact State license.
• BLS certification required (AHA).
• Minimum 1 year of surgical nursing experience (scrub and circulate).

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver patient care in the OR.
• Collaborate with surgical team to develop individualized care plans.
• Perform pre-operative assessments and histories.
• Perform scrub functions, instrument handling during procedures.
• Perform circulating functions, monitoring patient status and documenting.
• Monitor vital signs and ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Assist with specimen collection, processing, and documentation.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and care.
• Plan continuum of care across perioperative period.

• The OR Nurse plans and delivers patient care
• Collaborates with the surgical team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients
• Perform pre-operative assessments, including reviewing patient histories and conducting physical examinations
• Perform scrub functions including selection and handling of instruments and supplies during procedures
• Perform circulating functions including monitoring, recording and communication of patient condition
• Monitor patients' vital signs and ensure their safety and comfort throughout the surgical process
• Assist with specimen collection, processing, and documentation
• Educate patients and family
• Plan continuum of care

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program; basic professional nursing degree (with requirement to obtain a BSN/MSN within a specific time frame)
• Current licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing or Compact State as a Registered Nurse
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• At least 1 year of nursing experience in a surgical setting (scrubbing and circulating)
