Job summary

Texas Health Resources is seeking an RN for the Operating Room in Bedford, TX. This full-time position requires evening shifts (12:00pm–9:30pm) with on-call responsibilities and a focus on perioperative patient care.

Qualified candidates will have a Nursing Diploma/ADN (BSN preferred) and at least 1 year of RN experience, ideally in the OR, plus BCLS certification prior to independent practice.

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma or ADN; BSN preferred.
• 1 year RN experience or completion of an RN residency program required.
• 1 year OR experience highly preferred.
• BCLS certification required prior to independent patient care.

Responsibilities

• Responds to safety, physical, psychological, and social needs of patients.
• Engages family/caregivers in health care decisions and care planning.
• Communicates effectively with the care team and patients to ensure high-quality perioperative care.
• Maintains patient privacy, safety, and comfort in the operating suite.
