Job summary

MedCadre is seeking an OR RN for night shift (3x12 hours) 18:30-07:00 in the SMMC Surgery unit. The role requires Epic charting and 2+ years of OR experience, with ACLS/BCLS certifications preferred. Local candidates within a 50‑mile radius are encouraged to apply; weekend and holiday call is required.

The unit may require floating between the main OR and the OP Surgery Center to meet needs. Only experienced OR RNs will be considered; outside employment will not be accepted.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience required - hard stop.
• No first time travelers.
• ACLS (preferred), BCLS.

Responsibilities

• Provide OR nursing care and support in the OR and surgery center.
• May float between main OR and OP Surgery Center as needed.
• Be available for weekend/holiday call and adhere to scheduling.
