Job summary

Wayne County Hospital is seeking a CRNA for a full-time day shift with call rotation and potential weekend/holiday coverage in Monticello, KY. The CRNA will administer anesthesia for surgical procedures, monitor patients, and work with the OR team to ensure safety and comfort.

Job description

Type: Full-Time Position Day Shift- with call rotation and possible weekend and holiday rotation

OR CRNA will administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures. Monitor patients’ vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as necessary. Collaborate with surgeons and OR team to ensure patient safety and comfort. Access patients’ medical histories to develop tailored anesthesia plans. Educate patients and families regarding anesthesia procedures and post operative care. Maintains and updates as necessary policies and procedures for CRNA annually.

Required Skills:

• Sound critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work in a positive teamwork environment.
• Strong communication Skills and Interpersonal Skills for effective patient interaction.
• Valid certification as Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• RN - active nurse licensure to practice in the state of Kentucky
• CRNA nurse experience: two (2) year preferred
• ACLS with 30 days of hire & PALS within 90 days of date of hire
