Job summary

AdventHealth in Kissimmee, FL is hiring an RN for operating room support. The role includes full-time, day shifts with opportunities to participate in the Clinical Ladder program and potential sign-on up to $12,500 and relocation assistance for eligible candidates.

Responsibilities include comprehensive patient assessments, care plan development, medication administration, patient education, and coordination with the care team. Licensure and BLS certification are required.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Nursing required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
  • RN license and BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans and regularly evaluate progress.
  • Administer medications and treatments safely per physician orders and protocols; monitor for adverse reactions.
  • Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and self-care strategies to promote understanding.
  • Coordinate care with medical staff and ancillary departments to ensure effective teamwork and communication.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient information, care activities, interventions, and outcomes.
