Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in operating room, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers indirect and direct patient care according to established standards.
• Performs patient assessment and reassessment upon admission and regularly.
• Takes emergency call as assigned.
• Coordinates care across settings and disciplines.
• Assists with reviewing and updating policies and procedures.

Skills

Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities

Dealing tactfully with patients, families, physicians and employees

Knowledge of hospital policies and procedures specific to an OR nurse

Clinically proficient in OR nursing skills

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
