Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current TX Nursing License.
• Current BLS, ACLS and PALS within 6 months of hire.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in operating room, preferred.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Delivers indirect and direct patient care according to established standards.
• Performs patient assessment and reassessment with documentation.
• Takes emergency call as assigned.
• Coordinates care across settings and disciplines.
• Maintains sterile technique and adheres to standards of practice.
• Documents all records according to policies and procedures.
• Acts as patient advocate for physical and psychological needs.
